Is it really possible to become more successful today?
Many people think success is about reaching a destination, but in reality it’s about the small decisions and actions that you make on a day-to-day basis.
Success is really about the journey that you take reaching the destination of your dreams. And, if you want to be more successful, it requires you to first decide, “what does success really mean for me?” Is it…
- more time with your family,
- the ability to buy a new car, or something else you’ve always wanted, or
- about having the time to be able to give back and make a contribution to the community around you?
If you want to be successful today it requires you to be 100% clear on what success tomorrow looks like.
What’s really important is that you take this and write it down.
As Confucius once said, “Even the faintest writing is stronger than the most powerful of thoughts.”
In the process of writing, what you actually do is put power to your dreams. So, success requires you to be clear on your dreams, put a date on them to make them goals, and then take consistent action on a daily basis over and over again.
Success is something that you can only do one day at a time.
To lead a successful life, first you need to start with leading a successful hour, a successful day, and a successful week.
What really makes the difference…
Get clear on the small success habits or rituals that you make part of your day because it’s not the big things that ma3 tter, it is the little things….like getting out of bed when the alarm goes off, being disciplined about what you eat, how you exercise, and what you do to get in a peak mental state.
I’d like to share with you three of my favourite success rituals:
- Define my top 3 outcomes for the day before it starts
- Find a way to add value in every interaction
- Read a book for at least 10 minutes a day.
Success doesn’t come the way you think.
It comes from the way you think.
So, think success, lead more successfully, and have an amazing day.
